Hello, I found your blog while doing online searches for my great-grandfather, William B. Seach the Congressional Medal of Honor recipient from the Boxer Rebellion. This may be a long shot, but I'm hoping you may be able to help me given your extensive knowledge. I am desperately trying to find my great-grandfather's medals. After his death in 1978 (when I was only 2 years old), my mother's aunt & cousins were in possession of the medals. According to family history, his medals were donated to a musueum--in Quincy or Weymouth possibly. I'd love to find out where exactly so that I can take my own children--Boppie's great-great-grandchildren--someday to see the honors that he earned. (Boppie was the affectionate name given to him by his grandchildren and how we, newer generations, have heard about him for years). I would appreciate any help you could possibly give me as I'm not sure where, or how, to even start looking!
You can reach me at amkcook2001@yahoo.com.
Thanky you!
