Hmm.... Grew up in the Midwest, but then I joined the Navy and started meeting people who talked differently; Coke was "pop" when I was a kid, but I got so used to hearing it called "soda" that that's what I always say now. Wife used to live in Ireland, and I used to live in Scotland, so I've picked up a few non-American usages, too. And my speech has been affected by some of the thousands of books I've read through the years, too.

I've taken that test before and came out pretty high as a Standard English speaker. One problem I saw with it are that it doesn't have enough selections for both as some of the terms are bleeding into other areas (coke, soda, pop) or terms are getting changed as products are packaged differently (paper Bag or plastic Sack). I also started making a focused effort in my 20's to start peppering my speak (like all ya'll)with some of local flavors as I saw a slight advantage in presenting a southern/country exterior as you tend to get discounted slightly. 8)
